Bryn Tillman is a contemporary interdisciplinary artist based in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Practices and Psychology, with a passion for art therapy and the intersections of creativity, healing, and human experience. That background continues to shape her work, which often explores how art can hold space for both discomfort and wonder.

Her journey began as a teenager searching for quiet in the chaos of anxiety, and art became her refuge. Starting in realism and figurative work, she eventually discovered freedom in abstraction: the space to embrace imperfection, let go of control, and make “bad art” that became her truest expression.

Outside the studio, Bryn is as curious about life as she is about art. She finds inspiration not by chasing hiking highs, but by sitting with the earth, observing its cracks, intricacies, and overlooked corners. She loves traveling and is drawn especially to the ocean, whose rhythms echo in her work. At home, she spends her time cooking, swimming, reading, and laughing with her partner, family, and friends, finding joy in simple moments.

Her work and her life share the same philosophy: that beauty is not only in what is polished and pristine, but also in what is raw, messy, and profoundly alive.
